War Eagle Mill

War Eagle Mill is about 15 miles away and offers a unique experience to tour the red mill and experience a gristmill demonstration, enjoy lunch in the café, and shop the general store offering flours, soup mixes, cereals, and other 100% natural, non-GMO whole grain, and USDA-certified organic products made at the mill. Be sure to visit the fall craft fair during the third week of October.

Explore the beauty of the Ozarks at Hobbs State Park – Conservation Area. Hobbs is Arkansas’s largest state park, spanning a 12,054-acre tract of Ozark landscape along the southern shore of Beaver Lake. Highlights of this day-use park include a diverse, 54-mile trail system with hiking, and mountain biking trails. The visitor center includes exhibits about the park’s natural resources, limestone landscape, and history. Interpretive programs and workshops are offered throughout the year.

Cyclists and mountain bikers will love biking through the scenic trails and the opportunity to discover fascinating public art peppered along the trailways in Bentonville and to connect to the Razorback Greenway with 40 miles of paved trails connecting communities and access to art, culture and commerce. Crystal Bridges Museum of Modern Art, the Momentary, and the Amazeum is only 18 miles away.

Crystal Bridges is built on 120 acres of Ozark forest surrounded by trails, sculptures, and gardens. Enjoy outdoor artwork and 5 miles of trails, which link to the downtown area. There is no cost to view the museum’s permanent collection. The Amazeum is located at the entrance of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and provides fun interactive experiences including the 3M Tinkering Hub, Hershey’s Lab, water area, and climbable tree canopy.

We are a short drive to Fayetteville for visiting the University of Arkansas, baseball, football, or basketball games, and Dickson Street. Eureka Springs offers a great day trip less than 35 miles away. Unique shops, restaurants, and activities will keep you busy as you explore the town’s unique setting and architecture.
